- Consistent parental support throughout the application process.
- Strong academic and behavioral record.
- Additional documentation, phone screenings, or placement testing may be required. Incomplete applications will be returned for completion.
All references, testimonies, academic history, IEPs, and other relevant information are considered. Applicants may be asked to provide additional information, participate in a screening phone call, or complete placement testing.
Incomplete applications will be returned to the parent to complete and resubmit.

Final approval is contingent upon an in-person interview.
Interviews are conducted in recurring cycles as openings become available at the applicant’s grade level. An interview does not guarantee enrollment.

At Advance Prep Academy, we strive to enroll as many students as possible; however, classroom space limitations mean we must carefully manage our enrollment process. Here are some tips to improve your chances of receiving an enrollment offer:
Apply Early
Applications open annually on April 30th, so submitting your application as early as possible is key.Be Thorough
Applicants who provide strong, comprehensive, and heartfelt testimonies are more likely to be invited for an interview.Be Patient
While most enrollment decisions are made in February and March, additional openings often become available later and even during the school year.Be Flexible with Sibling Enrollment
While we aim to keep siblings together, accepting an available spot for one child can improve the chances of future enrollment for other siblings.
We are proud to serve our community in meaningful ways and appreciate your understanding and commitment to our mission.
14.) What information is required for enrollment?
When an enrollment offer is extended, it typically comes with a 5-day deadline to accept. To streamline the process, please be prepared with the following:
Completed Enrollment Paperwork
Birth Certificate
Immunization Records or an Immunization Affidavit
$250 Enrollment Fee (non-refundable)
Having these items ready in advance will ensure a smooth and timely enrollment process.
15.) What if I have a child with special needs?
At Advance Prep Academy, we believe that every child is uniquely created with a heart to learn and grow. We are committed to ensuring that all students receive love, respect, and access to educational opportunities when accepted into our academy.
Special Needs Admissions
Some students with special needs may be accepted at APA. To determine if APA is the best learning environment for a special needs student, parents are required to interview with the building principal.
While APA offers limited special education assistance, our approach supports classroom teachers in addressing learning challenges within the regular classroom. Additional services include:
- Pull-Out Support: Time with a special education teacher may be available for select students.
- Speech Therapy: Speech services may be provided on campus for an additional fee.
To ensure we can best meet the needs of your child, it is essential to declare any special needs, IEPs, or 504 plans during the admissions process. Accurately completing the admission materials is crucial for your child’s educational success.
Nondiscriminatory Policy
Advance Prep Academy admits students without regard to race, color, national origin, or ethnic background. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment for all students.
16.) What does tuition cost and what does it cover?
At Advance Prep Academy, tuition is designed to be all-inclusive, covering the essential needs of each student. Tuition includes:
- Core Curriculum Instruction: Access to a robust and comprehensive academic program.
- Classroom Materials and Resources: Basic items such as markers, whiteboards, laptops, desks, and chairs.
- School-Based Incentives and Activities: Opportunities like guest speakers, assemblies, and other educational enhancements.
In addition to tuition, each student is responsible for a classroom supply list, which ensures they have the additional personal learning materials necessary for success.
For more detailed information, please refer to our Tuition and Fee Schedule.
17.) What financial aid opportunities do I have access to?
Advance Prep Academy offers several tuition assistance options for students in grades K-12. These programs can provide substantial support, adding thousands of dollars to your student’s tuition account.
To explore options like individual tax credit organizations, income-based tax credit organizations, and Education Savings Accounts (ESA), please visit our Tuition & Financial Aid Options page for detailed information.
Our goal is to make quality education accessible to as many families as possible.

To enroll in our preschool program, students must be four years of age by September 1 of the school year in which they wish to enroll.
Per GCS’s licensing, preschool students may not attend until they are four years old. If your child has an August birthday and is offered enrollment, he/she must wait to start classes until his/her birthday. Tuition will not be prorated.
